Special Populations and Medication Safety

This course will address the principles of geriatric and pediatric pharmacotherapy, medication use during pregnancy, and dosage calculations and adjustments in patients with renal impairment and other special clinical conditions. The course will also address the causes of medication errors and strategies for preventing or minimizing therapeutic misadventures.
