Integrated Science II - Cardiovascular and Renal Disorders
This course will focus on integrating pathophysiologic mechanisms with the pharmacotherapeutic interventions used in the management of various cardiovascular, renal, and endocrine disorders, including but not limited to hypertension, heart failure, ischemic heart disease, acute coronary syndromes, arrhythmias, venous thromboemolism, stroke, hyperlipidemia, peripheral arterial disease, acute and chronic renal failure, glomerulonephritis, electrolyte disorders, acid-base disorders, diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal gland disorders, and pituitary gland disorders.
