Biography
Dr. Schumann is an Associate Professor at the California Northstate University College of Pharmacy. Dr. Schumann was previously faculty at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy with a clinical practice site in the Emergency Department at the University of Illinois Medical Center. She has several years of didactic teaching and clinical precepting experience. She served as the Director of UIC’s ASHP-accredited PGY2 Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Residency program, one of 3 programs in the country.
Dr. Schumann’s areas of interest include emergency medicine, trauma, toxicology, and cardiology. She looks forward to practicing in the emergency department again and eventually establishing a PGY2 Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Residency program.
